[Alex's Trip]

It all started a couple of days before Christmas, I was at a friends house for some family gathering thing that they were having. She wanted me to come (her name is Kirsten, by the way). Kirsten can be annoying sometimes, she isn't that fun to talk to, she isn't that cute either. Anyway, that day she pulled me into a room and told me that she knew I'm gay. That sort of pissed me off, but I didn't really show it. Who the hell does that? I wouldn't do it if I knew about someone else. She had found out by snooping through someone else's myspace messages. She was very annoying about it too. She wouldn't even come-out (zing!) and say it. She just said "I know" and I'd say "You know what?" and then she'd just repeat herself. Even though I knew what she was referring to, she just wouldn't say it. She's a childish, annoying bitch.

Well, ever since then, she has been acting like we are super close friends. She asks me if I'm in a bad mood (and I'm usually in a bad mood because of her), and wants me to 'talk about it'. I never do. I told her that I didn't want to talk to her about anything important. But she always asked that stuff anyway. Once, on AIM, she asked me if I was crying. Who the hell does that? I wasn't much better, I've been very cold to her, I suppose.

Well, anyway...Today we started fighting. I said that it was totally out of place for her to come to me and tell me that she knew that I'm gay. Her stupid excuse was "I wouldn't have been able to keep a secret, I had to talk to someone, so you were the best choice". How about some self control? I said she took our friendship to a level I didn't want it to go to, and essentially ruined it, to which she said "I'm sorry for ever trying to be your friend" or some thing like that, and then left.

There wouldn't be a problem if we never had to see eachother again, I'd be quite happy with that. However, that isn't the case. I hang out with about 5 other people everyday, she is one of them, and she is in one of my classes. So, I guess the point of this thread is...what the hell do I do? Do I try to talk to her? She is so stupid, she is hardly rational or coherent.

I don't really care if you help with this problem, or just talk about it. I think this thread will help most in giving me a place to vent.

try talking to her....that is, if you have to keep seeing her, because you'll be giving your other friends bad vibes all the time...not cool!...or just find new friends, or get your current friends to hate her as much as you do....i think i just covered all your options. your welcome.

I definitely find that just avoiding someone/ignoring them is a lot better than wasting any time worrying about them. But I guess if you see her everyday then that won't be too easy. If you can get her alone and just have a one-on-one chat about it that might help. But then again, what do I know?:-P

I've known too many people like her. They won't change, so don't even bother giving her a second chance or waiting until she comes to her senses. It's best to just ignore these people. And yes, your best option would be to hope that all the rest of your friends decide to hate her as well. Really that would be a great deal for all of you. She's been totally out of line.
