that number are insteresting ... but it's also really sad....
i am very disappointed that NYC Ghosts & Flowers was their worse sale on the 90s and one of their worse in all time... and i think that is an marvelous album. Fuck. I'll buy it and help its sales... do you agree with me? and by the way i think dirty sucks in comparison to washing machine and nyc. and by those numbers daydream nation is the most fantastic materpiece of the underground. how could a so fucking awesome album sell only 160 thousand copies around the world. And it was in the list of the fifty most importants albums ever in rock history in a brazilian magazine. |

ahhh thank goodness for SST
I got the NEUTRAL Cassette. I cannot wait until I get my re-issues in the mail!!!!! VINYL!!!! If I did not want them pristine I would rub my cock all over them the moment I got them! regarding NYC Ghosts...- that album is the moist unstructure of sonic youth;s regiular catalog. it cold easily have been included in the SYR series. free poetry, open loose compositions. I love it. I have only recently (past year) been listening to it enough to love it. but I can completely understand why it sold so little. dirty has PUNCH. washing machine ad NYC do not. all three are genius, but dirty can have you pumping fists!!!! and it has the single most beautiful lee song ever WISH FULFILMENT!!!!!

Does the Neutral cassette have the backwards B-side like the SST one?
Some of these numbers might make sense if they don't include the reissues - or maybe SST had some fuzzy accounting. |

i understand why nyc didn't sell as musch as dirty ...
but i don't understand why it was sold so few copies of it... murray street sold twice times more. and i don't think nyc could be included in SYR series. |

nyc g&f aint a completely gettable album. its not one which people will twig onto unless they are a dyed in the wool sy fan. i mean i love the band to bits but it did take me a while to "get" the album. it is one of my favourites but i reckon a system of a down fan would prefer murray st to nyc. yknow what i mean............................ |

The NEUTRAL cassette did have the b side backwards. That shit blew my mind when I was 15.
