Sleep is over-rated and a waste of time

I yell out too, mostly during nightmares. Then I wake up.

Apologies for the tardy reply to this most important of requests. Yes, you can borrow it but only if: a) You pay all the costs associated in such a swap. b) I can borrow your brain for the duration. c) You reimburse me for the cost of any cushions, chocolates, kitties or heart shaped trinkets that I might purchase as a result of having a chicks brain. (LOOK MA, I DID A SEXIST JOKE..AREN'T YOU PROUD OF ME?) |

The worse type of sleep is the type one chases whilst on an airplane.....
For example, when we were flying to Hong Kong, I slept 3 hours, thats a total of 3 hours in 24, not TOO bad right? I think I got this much because I had a few drinks and the baby was sleeping well... On the return flight I got 1 hour of sleep, same ratio 1 out of a possible 24. Not to mention jet lag and a cough/cold sort of thing going down, its been tiring, I'm definetly into sleep debt and although its been exactly two weeks since we've been back home, I'm just now starting my payments.... On an unrelated note here's a good film about sleep: |

I feel quite bad for all of you with sleeping disorders, as I only have one myself when im Katy, and even then, I just do a little fake-yoga and then fall straight asleep.

For whatever reason, I thought this thread was about the Andy Warhol film of the same name. I bet if you tried watching his movie, SLEEP, you might find yourself getting some as well. I recommend it as a good cure for insomnia. That and, appropriately titled, "The Cure for Insomnia" which, at 87 hours, has been recognised as the longest film of all time.
And no, I haven't watched it. |
