sugar.
Ive been humming Still Ill to myself the last few days, the first one is the only album i own - though Meat is Murder was the number one album the day i was born, which is pretty cool. I kinda went "I love the Smiths" then didnt care for about 3 years and now im finding myself getting increasingly back into them and this sounds like just the thing for me. |

Meat is Murder is my favourite of their LPs. It looks like a very fine collection. I've never updated The Smiths to cd because they just seem to suit vinyl, but if this boxset thingy is reasonably priced then I'll go for it.

Yeah, i cant remember who it was but some Heavy Metal journalist in the 80s drove past thequeue outside a Morrissey gig in a big fuck off convertible and threw raw meat at the people in the Queue. Cruel but funny nonetheless. |

Good thread, Hip Priest. The box set should come out later this year now, or so it states on one of Morrisey's websites. Just found out recently, that 'Suffer Little Children' originally had a piano coda at the end that later became 'Asleep'.
