Let's talk about how fucking awesome these dudes are. I think they're in their 30's or something, so they've probably been at this for a while and it shows. Better than eighty percent of the yawn-inducing "weirdpunk" that passes for good over in certain corners of the internet. I have the self-titled and Megan's LOLZ 7"s and I'm gonna get the album soon.

They will never release a full-length. Just EPs.
The first 7" is not self-titled....it's called Marines Dot Com. The upcoming 12" is four songs, 45 rpm, on 180-gram vinyl, and it blows the first two records away.

This only relates to A Frames because the Mayyors guitarist Chris Woodhouse was a producer of nearly every A Frames record, and the bassist's label released some records by bands in the A Frames family tree (chiefly The Intelligence and The Dipers).
There's a spiritual connection between Woodhouse and the A Frames that runs deep and extends back into the A Frames prehistory. I related this story here (plus have a listen here to the Mayyors if you haven't heard 'em)... http://www.20jazzfunkgreats.co.uk/wo...or-decoration/ (see in comments section) And then this post (w/listening links) about one of Woodhouse's pre-Mayyors bands, Karate Party, catches you up even more... http://www.20jazzfunkgreats.co.uk/wo...ecorded-alive/
