i totally want a megaphone helmet. i guess it comes w/ battery pack shoulder pads that send morse code through the speaker. this is quite possibly the coolest thing i've ever seen. they're going for over $300 right now... i would love to have one of these for my noise project....

You're right - that is quite possibly one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I don't know what use I'd have for it, but even if it were just to irritate the neighbors, it'd be well worth it.

I like Scott's better. He plays in White Map with Zak Sally, and his bullhorn is more badass.

You could dress as a bishop and wear a big bishop-style hat over it. A clever digiuise. Look alll serene and holy, then talk very loudly.

That reminds me of one of the insturments in my brothers band. It's a guitar neck and strings coming out of a megaphone with a mic, and I never knew how you would play it.

hehe i think you should hide it with a novelty oversized foam cowboy hat. like homer does with the secret camera in the simpsons. my friend made a similar thing as a performance type thingy on our art course. he stuck loads of speakers to a motorbike helemt, running to an amp in his backpack. he wore it at a party, and it was fucking loud...

I have no idea. I just saw the site on the old board, & made the link for everyone here. I wish I could be in Thurston's shoes. Have you heard my "Warfair" track inhuman?

Hey, I'm like a 101/2, & I think that's a small shoe. So, they must be old shoes from his early years. Maybe

The coolest thing I ever got off ebay was probably my first pressing copy of the ramones' leave home, complete with carbona not glue (instead of babysitter and and an early ver of sheena is a punk rocker)
I also got some oop sebadoh stuff and my copy of the whitey album... that arrived the day of my prom. We listened to it on the way there ^_^
