Does anyone have the interview where the late, infamous, brilliant Steven Wells takes jabs at the band? I think it was from NME sometime in the mid-90's. The dude was hilarious, a real rarity, and I'm anxious to find this.

It was the May 2nd 1998 issue, with Jeff Buckley on the cover, while they were doing press for A Thousand Leaves. We talked about it in the Swells obit thread last year, but no-one seemed to have a copy.

I was really pissed off about this at the time (Wells was a brilliant writer but he was just on the offensive here and didn't give SY a chance). NME did give A Thousand Leaves 9/10 the following week though I seem to remember.
