You're kidding me right? He was sublime in another Kubrick film 3 years earlier, and Spartacus wasn't that bad either. I agree with Kidman having a very bad nose job, but Streep and Harris made up for it.

Leprechaun 4 in space is pretty bad...as is Leprechaun in the Hood with Ice T.

Troll and Troll 2 are pretty fucking bad too.

The WORST MOVIE ever! Has got to be....

THE SHAFT! (not to be confused with "Shaft")

THE SHAFT is a horror movie about a possessed elevator...and it is damn rad!

Back in 1983, Dutch Writer/Director Dick Mass released the Horror movie, DE LIFT aka THE LIFT.

Apparently, Dick Maas thought his flick was a turd as well. Nearly 20 years later a much older and presumably wiser Dick decided to remake and release his own film (now made in France). Only this time, he called it DOWN.

DOWN became THE SHAFT in the U.S.

He made a very very big mistake, 'cause The LIFT had already become a cult movie.

ok... there are like 3 or 4 kubrick movies i have not seen, thparticus & barry lyndon are both on that list... thanks for the scoop!

I haven't seen it either. I keep well away from most remakes, especially ones ripped from the master of suspense.

Have you noticed how many remakes hollywood have come up with in the last few years?
