i didnt want to start a new thread on a topic that is pretty similar

last night i found out my sister is in hospital after attempted suicide
she tried to kill her self by taking lots of downers of some sort
man it fucking nuts
i dont know what to think or do
its so unexpected
she is the last person you would think to do this
and i found out 20 mins ago that when she awoken in the hospital that she tried to hang her self there
its heart breaking and infuriating

Why do people think tanning is a good thing? I was at this pool party Sunday. Mom's a nurse, and her daughters are brown as nuts from their sun worshipping. Doesn't mom tell them this glow is pre-pre-cancerous? Plus it just isn't attractive, is it? Leathery skin? I mean, if it's your natural skin color, that's fine and beautiful. But caucasians going all dark brown--your skin turns to leather, and it just looks weird to me.

Plus these young ladies smoked cigarettes like crazy. Mom!

that's bad. obviously i smoke and stuff but my skin is immaculately porcelain and i would like to keep it that way for as long as possible so when i go swimming i always wear the highest spf sunscreen i can find, and reapply. my face lotion has sunscreen in it. no sun damage for me.

When I came back from Trinidad I had a slight tan, and she went nuts. I called her a tan fiend and she get angry haha.

well i couldn't actually do that for the last 4 days but i'll try tomorrow. i managed to eat solid food though instead of like iced coffee or milkshakes and i feel significantly better, like a weaker-than-usual version of myself.
if i don't feel well enough to travel on saturday i'll have to push the date back a bit.
