No idea, maybe a week or two, after deciding to try to get a hold of it. I fuck around daily, but my potential musicianship is proving to be a failure because the more I play, the more I suck.

Right now, it's been 18 days because that's when spring break ended. The longest was about 3 months - from the end of summer to Thanksgiving. The reason for this is I'm at college tryna git smartz... and I had to pack lightly to fly from Maryland to Colorado. So unfortunately, my guitar is not with me here. Only three more weeks and I'll be reunited again!

Oh god, nearly all of Sep. '07 - Oct. '08. I was going through so much crap and I hardly ever played it. When I picked it up again, it was almost like I was playing for the first time, and I've been playing since I was ten. It really bummed me out.
I've been giving it a lot more attention these days, usually about 2-3 hours a day. |

previous to this evening, 3 days.
that was horrible but sometimes it's also nice to come back to the instrument after a break - propels ideas. |

I used to go a month or so at a time without playing but for the past year or so I always feel nuts going even a day or so.

Four days. It was from last Friday until Tuesday. But I suppose tha doesn't really count, since I was still playing my keyboard and my new slide guitar during those four days.

I play every day. The longest I've went was probably a few weeks, when it was at a friend's house.

I play every day too. More acoustic than electric now, so I don't have to go through the hassle of plugging everything in, amp, effects etc. I'm concentrating on getting my fingerpicking improved lately, too, as well as more complicated chordage that I should get around to teaching myself.

I haven't touched my electric guitar for over a year now. If I ever need any guitar samples (feedback, etc), I just skim through my harddisk where I'd recorded lots of sounds some time ago.

I've given up on fingerpicking. Everything I played sounded like a shitty Fahey Lite. I'd rather just further develop my own.. uh.. style.

That's fair enough, I mean I'm not particularly good at it either and can't hope to ever be as good as Fahey (ha) but I just like the sound, the intertwining melodies at once..

i stopped playing from 15 to 17 alltogether, when I started to pick up the sax. I never really got the hang of it though ad went back to guiar, I still go through periods when I get played out on guitar and will mess around with just my contact mic, amps, and pedals. I live in an apartment though and I have gotten to warnings already; one for noise complaint, one for pot smell complaint. Who the fuck would bitch about a pot smell?
