RIP Great Pacific Northwest band. If you’ve seen “Hype!” please don’t think “54/40 or Fight” is all there was to this band. Fred wrote one of the best songs to come from the grunge era, “It’s OK,” which has been covered relentlessly but never really done justice. Sad shit. |

They have a consistently discography too. Recently collected on an anthology of sorts, which I purchased as soon as I was able. Would have preferred a Numero Group retrospective reissue series, but it’s stjll a great, 2-disc document highlighting this grizzly, manic, deeply punk band.
