I droned on about this in the latest Gear Guide update, but I didn't see a thread here, probably since it came out right at the end of 2021 when this board was in a bad place. This book is beautiful, and you can even get a version with Lee's Ibanez delay on the cover (the copy I found in stores had Mary Timony's flanger, Nels Cline's delay, etc). Both Lee and Thurston are featured, discussing the aforementioned analog delay and Ludwig Phase II Guitar Synthesizer infamous for its use on "The Diamond Sea". There's also a cool SY feature on their site where Lee digs deep into the effects closet at Echo Canyon. I suspect this was done when they were preparing stuff for the Reverb auction in 2018. Lee, Thurston, and 98 other guitarists - plus pages and pages of gorgeous photos and stompbox history. Check it out!
