A fairly impressive list of tracks, all of which concern some girl named Sally. Which is your favourite?
Why is the name Sally so inspirational to songwriters?

My favorite isn't on there. You left out Lou Reed's "Sally Can't Dance No More"

Normally I reply with the usual 'you're only allowed ten options' excuse, but I honestly did mean to include that one.
Sorry. Maybe you could pick a second favourite?

It has to be The Pogues for me. As much as I like a few of those songs, whenever I hear Sally MacLannane it just fills me with joy.
And on a personal level, it takes me back to a specific time and place in my life. |

from that list, my personal favourite would be Sally Cinnamon, tho i make no attempt to justify this...
Also, Love is the Law by the Seahorses (i know it's rubbish) but it does include the line "Strap-on Sally chased us down the alley/We feared for our behinds" which did make me giggle when i was 14... |
