i sold my wii and all the games for iphone/new york money and i don't feel the least bit ashamed. i've got a friend who's going to be camping out for me until i get out of work on friday.

also, one of my good friends won't stop dating strippers/fetish models/goth chicks, but he really should. how can i get him to stop it?

i only ask because all these goth chixxz are really causing my buddy more heartache than they're worth and i think if he got with people who weren't so obsessed with being un-normal (not different, but un-normal, if that makes sense) and victimized.

just let your buddy be an idiot. or do like me, and find a sweet young quiet girl (trust me when i say quiet girls are the freakiest in bed) and have her dress up as a goth and whatever for your own private sex time. but have her not act like a goth all the time. because who the fuck wants to hang out with a goth chick? he definitely is idealizing them and he's stuck on this being "dark" thing that's really a waste of his time, because he isn't self absorbed enough to be like that. i could easily keep letting him deal with these girls, but i've seen him teeter on alcoholism as a result of the depression he faces from letting them drag him through the dirt.

Goth chicks don't do it for me - I see it all as an attention seeking fad (the whole "goth" thing). Your friend just obviously has bad taste in women. But then Atsonicparks girlfriend does nothing for me either. Girls have to have charisma to get at me, and they can be charismatic whether scene or not.

I have an ipod. I have a phone. I have a computer. Do I really need to spend $500-$600 to get crappier versions of all of them compacted into one?

same here, but i think it's really helpful to have a machine that can access the internet whenever, not just when i have time to sit down and pop out my powerbook (which, because of the casing, doesn't pick up signal as well as my ibook...which has a dead battery). i've been getting back aches as a result of carrying the thing around so much, not to mention how much of a liability it is to carry my instrument around the cities i go to. that's my reasoning for getting one.
