Three Lobed youth

Exiting news coming from Three Lobed recordings. The 2008 subscription series will include a solo CD from Lee Ranaldo and a CD with a 35 minute brand new studio track from the Bark Haze. Information on the series will be up on the Three Lobed site in a month or so and sales will begin in January 2008 (and shipping shortly thereafter).

The other artists involved are still secret?

Anyway, if it's anywhere near as good as the modern containment series, then I'm really looking forward to it. Count me in.

i'd consider them less of a secret and more of something that we're going to announce all at one time. wanted to let moshe have dibs on the SY-related content. look for additional information on this 9 disc series on the three lobed site in a month or so. i can say this for the lineup - it's as strong or stronger than modern containment. it definitely is not a drop off...

what does it mean? I know what subcription means in english, but what does it mean in this case?

it means you pay the total amount in advance and then receive a couple of discs every few months.

correct. mild twist - this series is going to be shipped in either 1 or 2 chunks. if it ends up being 2 chunks the two mailings will be relatively close to one another in time.

i cannot say enuf about how great their modern containment series was... i highly recommend subscribing to this (and/or) picking up the old series.... this has me excited for 08.

glad to see the final lineup made it's way over here. if anyone has any questions regarding the series, let me know. also, all subscribers will also get a copy of a new CD by the vanishing voice that will be coming out at around the same time as the series.
