The Rolling Stones
Jagger/Richards/Taylor/Wyman/Watts acoustic studio outtakes part 1 95 MB vbr .wmas in .rar folder http://www.badongo.com/file/7144856 01 Dear Doctor Olympic Sound Studios, London 5/13-23/68 02 You Got the Silver (Mick vox) Olympic Sound Studios, London 2/16/69 03 Family (with Nicky Hopkins) Olympic Sound Studios, London 5/13-23/68 04 No Expectations Olympic Sound Studios, London 5/13-23/68 05 Sister Morphine Olympic Sound Studios, London 3/22,28 & 30/69 06 Blood Red Wine Olympic Sound Studios, London 5/13/68 though mid-June '68 07 Country Honk Olympic Sound Studios, London 4/17/69 through 7/02/69 08 You Can't Always Get What You Want Olympic Sound Studios, London 11/17/68 09 You Gotta Move (unknown) 10 Wild Horses (early acoustic version; unknown date and location) 11 All Down the Line Elektra Studios, Los Angeles 10/17/69 through late Oct. '69 part 2 24 MB vbr .wmas in .zip folder http://www.badongo.com/file/7145041 12 Cocksucker Blues (Jagger solo, date unknown; last single recorded for Decca) 13 Dead Flowers (early acoustic version; unknown date and location) 14 Angie (unknown) These great-sounding outtakes, each with some acoustic instrumentation, are the same found on the Unplugged bootleg. The first fourteen tracks also appear on the Acoustic Motherfuckers bootleg (which, incidentally, fills out the remainder of the disc with cuts from '93 at Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin from the Voodoo Brew bootleg). I omitted the tracks from '93 to keep this all from the Mick Taylor-era. I've cited the sources as given on Acoustic Motherfuckers (Unplugged offers no sources), but have my questions. 12 probably recorded at Elektra Studios in Los Angeles between late '69 & early '70 5, 7, 14 probably actually recorded at Stargroves (Mobile) Studio, (Jagger's house) East End, Newbury, UK during mid-'69 9, 10, 13 probably recorded at Muscle Shoals Studios, Muscle Shoals, AL Dec. '69 If anyone has any input, please let me know. |

I have a bunch of this on bootleg CD and LP, actually. One of them's the Unplugged CD. It is good stuff.

Mmm Hmm very good stuff.
Thought you might have it already...oh well. Thanks for replying. These next couple of album outtakes aren't "acoustic" (see post above), but will go nicely just before "Wild Horses" if you are so inclined. Both are from Beggar's Breakfast and feature Nicky Hopkins on keys.
They were most likely recorded at Stargroves and then overdubbed and mixed at Sunset Sound and/or Elektra Studios in L.A.
