As of late I've been listening to Polvo, Mission of Burma, Thinking Fellers Union Local 282, Drive Like Jehu, Arab on Radar, Hella, KARP, Scratch Acid, Polysics, Spiritualized, Spacemen 3, LIARS, The Kinks, and the Nuggets compilations.

But really, any recommendation will do.

Slint and Unwound, if you don't already.

And if you don't already listen to the following artists, make sure you do in good time:
µ-ziq
Boards of Canada
DJ Shadow

The Gordons or Bailter Space. They're the same band, it's just that The Gordons broke up, then a new band was formed, there were some lineup changes, and it was the same band. I think they're considered noise rock.

Shrug.

i fail to see the connection between cocteau twins and stone roses other than both are british bands from the 80's.

i can understand people not liking ct.

i love that list, the fact that you included the great mobb deep with great experimental bands new and old is rad, 'the infamous' is one of the greatest and most underrated discs of hip hop history
