Mine is Thurston Moore. I like the other three too, particularly Kim Gordon and Lee Ranaldo, but Moore is the one who I've found consistently entertaining and informative throughout the years.
This is not a thread about the best this or best that, so, if you can, don't turn it into the usual stupid arguments that don't bring anything into anyone's life. Poll attached. Bye. |

i've not seen/heard/read that many interviews to be honest.
In the ones i have read Kim seems really bored (or too cool), Lee seems very serious and Steve comes acros really excited. I'll have to hunt down a Thurston interview |

Thurston interviews aren't to be missed, ever. He's also an outstanding
subject whether one-on-one or with others in the group. While he has mellowed out from his 1980s/early 90s heyday where every other sentence was either bullshit or exaggeration for effect, he still has the most quotables of any SY'er. Kim can be incredibly sharp in interviews; ideally, Julie Cafritz should always ask the questions (see Venus mag, 2002 cover story). Lee I've always thought more entertaining when it's a group interview. And Steve, well, it's a rarity, but it's a treat.
