or someone made one for you?

i made one after i talked to this girl about calvin johnson because she used work at k records. she spotted me out at this bar and called out to me and bought me a beer and a shot. she was amazingly cute too, but i'm so damn shy that i couldn't ask her out or get her phone number and she left without me ever saying bye.

anyway i'm a dork and made a missed connection. she never responed or probably saw it though.

here it is:

you know that whole day i wore that beat happening shirt i had good luck. i got 15 bucks in tips and 8 of it was from a guy who said nice shirt. two girls said nice shirt (but of course i didn't say anything to them) and then the girl i like to call the "k records girl" bought me drinks and was actually blushing when talking to me.

i should wear that shirt everyday

some strange girl made one for me once. she didn't (want to?) realize it wasn't a "missed connection"-- i was fleeing her without being rude.

my neighbor spotted it on the paper and i hid at home that week.

that's the problem with being nice & talking to anybody... weirdos will think you love them.

I was stalked when I worked retail in the 80's, I didn't know it - then 5 years later it turned out she was friends with a friend of mine and she let loose with the scoop - we dated and had some fun.

she worked at k and used to live in olympia. she was telling me some funny calvin johnson stories. maybe i'll bump into her again. maybe she goes to that bar often.

People generally find me disagreeable.Even people that 'love' me. I've never had this 'missed connection' thing happen to me. People never really talk to me, or show much of an interest.There is always someone better to talk to.

so i made another one. she comes into my work at least once a week with her friends for brunch and i think she's so cute, but i'm too shy to ask her out or even talk to her. here it is:
short haired red headed girl at sat. brunch at life cafe. - m4w - 26 (bushwick) you were with three other girls sitting at the big table in the corner. you had on a purple cap and a dress, i think. i just wanted to say that i think you're one of the cutest girls i have seen.

she responded with a nice little email, but i don't think i'm going to respond to her back. i don't want her to know that it was me. oh, and her cap is actually blue. she made it a point to point that out.
