and it went perfect. the kids were 12-16 and it was sunday school so its a bit easier, and yet also that much more difficult, I mean, math is not quite as hard to explain as God sometimes, but it went well. in fact, they were spellbound, and it surprised even me. This will be as much fun as I have anticipated these past few years of working up to this goal. The future looks prospective.
one of the youth told me, "you should be my teacher at school." I told him, "I'd like to, but they don't appreciate the natty dreadlocks so much." His reply, "You should go teach in Ethiopia then." Matthew 21:16: And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

I still have nightmares about the first class I taught.
But good for you. Teaching is about as rewarding and fun a job there is once you get the hang of it. |

thank you. we'll see if they like history as much as the bible, this sunday's lesson, in honor of both the upcoming elections and the anniversary of the Coronation on November 2 [1930], Emperor Haile Selassie's Tumultuous Rise to the Throne, Conquering the Battle-Ground Provinces, since they are familiar with the battleground states of US elections..
