SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE "LP2" / self-titled / "the pink album" 1995, Sub Pop I just love this record with all my heart. I know it probably doesn't sound like a total mindblower or something completely different from the norm, which are the types of albums I usually try to post. It's just a really fucking great record. As much as I love "Diary" (which was pretty much the soundtrack to my middle school years), this one's darker, desolate, more unfocused, rambling, mumbling, lost... but in a good way. I dunno. An "Emo" (second-wave) masterpiece. http://www.mediafire.com/?1xc5j9emd2v 42mb |

yes, emo. But before "Screaming Inidelities" came along and mucked the whole genre up.

yeah i see you point. the voice is pretty terrible. plus, they were basically a sdre ripoff band. i really like the band and sdre when i was sixteen though. |

I need to check this out, I have the first one around somewhere, was never super into it but it's been YEARS since I gave it a try. If I like this at all I'll dig it out.
