Sometimes, there just aren't enough shoes to kick all of the people, y'know?

Yeah, I saw this on the news... I could barely understand her accent but she said something about worrying how to get a job now.
My advice: learn to play bass and join Electric Wizard |

When I was 2, me and my friend Corky were wandering about the neighborhood when we came to the alleyway behind Old Man Petersen's butchers shop. He was throwing out sausages! A few days out of date, sure, but perfectly edible. So Corky says, "Let's steal these sausages!", and so we did. Old Man Petersen chased us down the street and we ran as fast as we could, ropes of sausage in our mouths. We were too busy running to notice that big red pickup truck. I'll never forget Corky's yelp as the wheel ran over his leg, and the sausage dropped to the ground. Naturally, he was put down, as his leg was completely crushed and his owners couldn't afford to have it amputated. Stealing those sausages will always be my biggest regret.

When I was 6, me and my friend were wandering about the neighborhood when we came to the abandoned lot next to my house. She convinced me to throw bricks at the bees! We ran only a few feet away, sure, but perfectly far enough. So I say, "is there a bee on my face?", because it felt like it. Old Man Sting flew in my ear and stung me as hard as it could, and left it's pulsing stinger behind. I was too busy running to my mommy to notice that my silver hood prevented my friend from seeing the big angry bee. I'll never forget the baking soda caked inside my ear, and the stinger that came out. Naturally, I destroyed the rest of the hive, as my ear was completely hurting and her fellow bees couldn't see me coming. Throwing those bricks will always be my biggest regret.

Bayesian regret is gotten via this procedure:
Each voter has a personal "utility" value for the election of each candidate. (E.g., if Nixon is elected, then voter Dan Cooper will acquire -55 extra lifetime happiness units.) In a computer simulation, the "voters" and "candidates" are artificial, and the utility numbers are generated by some randomized "utility generator" and assigned artificially to each candidate-voter pair. Now the voters vote, based both on their private utility values, and (if they are strategic voters) on their perception from "pre-election polls" (also generated artificially within the simulation, e.g. from a random subsample of "people") of how the other voters are going to act. (Note. Some people here have gotten the wrong impression that this is assuming that voters will be "honest" or that we are assuming that honest range voters will use candidate-utilities as their candidate-scores. Other people thought we insisted on i.i.d. normal random numbers as utility values [or that some other specific randomized utility generator was insisted upon]. All those impressions are incorrect; these assumptions are not made.) The election system E elects some winning candidate W. The sum over all voters V of their utility for W, is the "achieved societal utility." The sum over all voters V of their utility for X, maximized over all candidates X, is the "optimum societal utility" which would have been achieved if the election system had magically chosen the societally best candidate. The difference between 5 and 4 is the "Bayesian Regret" of the election system E, at least in this experiment. It might be zero, but if E was bad or if this election was unlucky for E, then it will be positive because W and X will be different candidates. |

I wonder what life would be like if I made better choices.
But then I wouldn't have learned the life lessons I've learned. And people I know might not even exist, or I might never have met them. |

Haha, the moment I saw the title I knew it was going to be about her. Yeah everyone in Belgium is laughing their ass off. Facebook is being spammed with fanclubs and quizzes about her.

I think the above picture says a lot about those who get face tattoos.

I like facial tattoos.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/aeionic/3043033806/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/7435059@N07/997651661/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/37669841@N04/3503951525/ Obviously nothing as fucking obnoxious as those stars or those brow things though. I'd get one if they weren't so "looked down upon" Maybe when I'm old.

I don't mind her face tattoos... I just think it would really hurt around the temple area. |

I'm not a big fan of star tattoos, but in comparison to that other bitches, those look mighty good!
I don't believe the girls story about falling asleep and all that. If she is telling the truth, then that is one hilarious tattoo artist. I know if I were him, and tattooing a sleeping person's face, I would be tempted to go all out too.
