It's not too bad. Lots of old dears. The people I work with are cool, by which I mean they don't like music or haircuts or clothes. Which are my favourite people to work with. You ever worked with people who were faintly>quite alternative? Worst fucking people to work with, I tell you. Workshy cunts the lot of them.
EDIT: Sorry, missed the boat on this one. You bunch of quick-tying cuntchops.

Melody Maker (back when such things were worth reading) used to have a section where each week they would print a photo of a reader and Mr Agreeable slagged them off. THat was called
Cretinous Useless Negligible Tosser of The Week. Kind of related.

He was hilarious - in fact that whole secion was pretty good. I remember one about Flava Flav meeting God, and all of the Fields of the Nephilim ones too.
I have a copy with Sonic Youth on the cover, and in that section there's a bit of a skit at them.

The wittiest and funniest thing i've ever read on a music magazine. That Steven Wells interview with SY was really funny too,it's a pity that most of the people who wrote letters to MM the week after it was out didn't get it in the slightest.

What is Everett True up to now? Wasn't there a thread ages ago about a Sonic Youth book he was writing/had written? He wasn't always too popular, I seem to remember.
