Reveille and Apple O are the best two of the three that I have (the third being The Runners Four). They are great.

Milk Man sleeps on the roof in the noon
Bana-na-na stabbed to the arms, weird man Ooh-la-la Milk Man sneaks in the house under moon Miracle words come to a mouth you may hear Peek-a-boo Come closer How beautiful I play sound Boys and girls Here I come I get you to escape night Boys and girls Be mine I'll take you to my dream land Now you're mine I'll take you to our dream land Milk Man smiles to you "Hi" in a nude "This banana stuck in my arms, oh my love" Stabbed to the arms, ooh-la-la Yellow one Boo, boo, the Milk Man Hi, hi, he's masked man |

Ace band. I like all of the albums but I tend to find myself listening to the Runner's Four the most.

I'm on a Runner's Four vibe today. Which isn't unusual for me.

Apple O is the beginning of the newer Deerhoof. Before they were a noise band with little glimpses of pop genius. All of their albums are loosely concept albums, or so they claim. Milk Man is of course a true concept album. Apple O' is my favorite. Milk Man is straight-forward but very good. The Runners Four is a polished version of the Apple O style.
One of the most original bands around today. And definitely one of the best drummers around. |

I have Apple O, Reveille, and Runners Four. All are very good. Saw them once at Coachella and once opening for Radiohead. Great both times, although I would love to see them at a smaller club.

fucking brilliant!!!!
my favorite album is still reveille but i love everything they've made. don't underestimate their older stuff-- it's fucking insanely wonderful "holdy paws" and "half bird" are extraordinary so is"the man, the king, the girl"-- i also have "dirt pirate creed" which is an atrociously pressed early version of his album. i love them! no band gets more euphoria out of me than deerhoof |

Great musicians, but I can't get past the helium-voice.

i used to love them
but after green cosmos and runners four i kinda lost the interest reveille and milk man are my favourites and Saunier is one of the most energetic drummers out there |

what? green cosmos is amazing. true there is a weird arab-pop song but come see the duck! you know that's mostly a compilation of old singles...
runners four has some low points, i don't like it when the dudes sing. satomi on the other hand is queen of the universe. |

i donīt know but green cosmos somehow really dissappointed me, after milkman i expected a miracle. runners four has itīs moments but everything sounds flat and worn in my humble opinion. |

i guess. i saw them live for the first and only time before runners four and they were awesome. i bought the japanese version of green cosmos at that show. LOVED IT. but i guess yes in runners four they haven't reached the peaks they did (for me) with reveille

Yes! Reveille, Milk Man, The Runners Four are my top 3. As far as I can tell, they can do no wrong.

I saw them before Chris Cohen quit, and it was one of the best shows I've ever been too. Satomi danced with us.
